NOTES

Though incorporated as a town in 1900, the land that includes Secaucus is part of New Jersey's oldest municipality, Bergen, which was chartered way back in 1660.

Today, Secaucus is one of the smaller and more suburban towns in the otherwise very high-traffic, fast-paced Meadowlands region; still, it is home to a crucially important train station for travelers going to or from New York City and still has some of the industrial grit that is familiar to the area.

We thought this trestle graffiti by Jersey-based artist Distort was pretty incredible, and extra thanks to New Jersey Transit for the cameo!
