Man, we drove past Pluckemin so many times en route to other destinations.
It sits in this little pocket of 202/206 that has a natural bypass by way of Route 287 to leapfrog between Bedminster and Somerville, and we just sat "eh, next time" over and over again. When we finally decided to stay on 202, we were greeted by a quaint little village which served as an short encampment spot by George Washington's army in the winter of 1777.
