This is about as close as we can get to Picatinny Arsenal, an active military and research facility just off Route 15 North in Morris County. Its 215-foot tall munitions tower is a clear landmark sticking out above the forest, and neighboring towns can often hear test explosions from within the 6,400 acre campus.
