Named for its physical railroad boundaries on the South and West, with the Passaic River to the North, the Ironbound section of Newark is a vibrant, tenacious community housing some of the city's best eateries thanks in part to a robust Spanish, Portuguese, and Brazilian population.
We decided to go for some lighter fare, popping into the famous Nasto's Old World Ice Cream shop— family owned and operated since 1939.
